As you know, a company may have several offices in different cities or countries, or in the same city but with a distinct specialization; offices consist of diverse teams or departments, and so on. So here, we can create this structure and Amploo will help you to organize everything easily.
Let’s move further and create an office where we will set a schedule, add teams, assets and employees.
Setting an office
So, let’s start! Please go to the menu Employees - Offices tab and there in the upper right corner, click on “Add office”:
We specify the name of the office, add a description, and click on "Add office" and it appears in a list.
Then click on it and a new window appears, where we add the necessary information:
We specify a chief of this office, edit the schedule: work time and when a working week starts, and then click on the “Update office button”.
The next step is to create positions for your employees.
Position Settings
Sure, we need to create positions to see how many people of what specialties work with you.
To do this, click on "Add position" from the top right:
A window will open where we enter the name and click on — add position and next- click on the created position in the list and in the window opened, add the necessary information:
And here you can add the necessary position description and click on update.
Adding Teams
And now, let’s create the teams for your employees.
Please go to the menu Employees - choose Teams - and click on the button “Add Team”:
A new window appears, and there you enter the name of the team, choose a color for it, add a description, and click the button "Add team":
The newly created team will appear in a list, so just click on it and you will see the fields to enter the necessary information:
At the moment you may choose the office that this team belongs to, and further you can specify the Team Lead and add employees.
Adding Employees
And finally, the most important thing is to add employees to the company.
That’s super easy, in order to do it, please go to the Employees tab, click on "Add employee" in the top right corner, and a new window will open:
We may choose here: to create an employee with access to their account and the ability to work on a platform, or just create a user to be recorded in a company but who doesn’t need to work on projects with a team.
If we need an account for the employee, we choose the option - Send Invite details.
And here we indicate his/her email, name, hired date, office, position, team, and give them a role.
An email will be sent to the employee with details for logging into Amploo.
If we just need to create an employee card in the company without giving him an account to use, then we also enter all his data and choose "Do not send invite details".
When all employees are added, we can see them in a list:
If you want to edit the information about any of your users, just click on one of them and on the upper right corner you will see a tool - Edit:
There you will see fields where you can add or edit the information of the current employee.
