What is an Org Chart?

An organizational chart, commonly known as an org chart, is a visual representation of the structure of an organization. It illustrates the relationships and relative ranks of positions within the organization, often showing who reports to whom.

Amploo Org Chart will help you with:

  • Clarifying Structure - defines the hierarchy within the organization, showing the chain of command from top to bottom.

  • Depicting Roles and Responsibilities: Helps employees understand their roles and who they are accountable to.

How to set an Org Chart?

It’s all set automatically, according to the users' account position settings. You may check the positions of your employees through the menu "Employees"- "Edit" the profile of the user - "Work" section:

Make sure all your employees have positions and managers to whom they report, belong to some team and office.

When each account of your employee has information added about their affiliation, you may see the structure of the whole company in Org Chart.

Please go to the left sidebar and click on Employees section and in the upper right corner you will see - Org.chart:

If you click on it, and the structure of your company is built in all hierarchy levels.

You can hold down the left mouse button and drag it in the position you want, and also you have some buttons in the the bottom menu:

  • Zoom in - to make the structure bigger and closer to you;

  • Zoom out - to reduce the size of the structure;

  • Expand - to expand the structure;

  • Collapse - to roll it up ;

  • Fit - to center the structure to the right size;
