Manage company assets with ease: track, categorize, and assign equipment to employees while keeping a history of assignments in Amploo.

Overview

This is some furniture, and other equipment that the company puts at the disposal of employees for work, that is the material value of the company.

And we offer you this feature that helps you to organize and track all your assets easily.

So, please go to the "Employees" section on the left sidebar and choose there - Assets.

Sorting and Filtering

You can view the entire list of equipment added or sort it by certain criteria: its name, category, office, price, currency, date added, and serial number:

You can also add filters by category and office. If we click on Categories on the top right, we will see which categories of the company's material assets we currently have:

You can also go to each category and delete it, or update information on it:

How to add a new Category?

To add a new category, click on "Add Category" on the top right and indicate the name, add a description if necessary, and click on "Add Category"

It appears in our list, and then we click on it to add more information and description:

How to add a new Asset?

To add an asset, return to assets, click on "Add asset" on the top right, and then indicate in the window:

  • Name

  • Serial number (if necessary)

  • Cost

  • Currency

  • Office

  • Category

and click on "Add asset":

It appears in our asset list:

then we click on it and can upload a photo or make changes to the description.

Also, you can add custom fields here to add some additional information. As for custom fields, you can read more in our article.

Kindly note, all listed assets here are attached to the company and can be attached to the employee as well.

How to attach an asset to the employee?

Click on the necessary asset from the list to open the information about it. And there you see a tab - Assignments:

If it's a newly added asset and there were not any assignments before, you will see a button "+ Assignment to employee" just in the middle:

Please click on it, and choose the right person from the list of your employees to assign this asset:

When the asset has already been attached to someone, but you need to assign it to a different person, you may click on the "Detach from employee" button:

or click on the "+ Assignment to employee" and this asset will be automatically detached from the current employee and assigned to the next one you choose from the list.

Also, you see the list of employees to whom this very asset has been attached before and the period of use:
